Urban Forests of Maine Teachers' Tour: Portland

Join educators, forestry leaders, and conservationists for a fall learning series exploring how urban trees sustain Maine communities from ecology to everyday life. Through hands-on workshops, virtual discussions, and a full-day field tour, you’ll gain practical tools, standards-aligned activities, and fresh insights into forest-based education.

Complete the entire series to earn a $125 participation stipend, 16 CEUs, and to become eligible to receive an implementation grant up to $750 to integrate forest-based education into your classroom!

*Registration is subject to approval by Maine TREE staff. All participants must live, teach, or study in Maine.
